Jonathan Meare, director of JDM Designs Ltd and a member of Manchester Inventors Group, explains how his simple idea has progressed to be "this year's must have beach accessory"

"Charles Lucas, Chairman of Going for Grants, explains  how to identify and apply for grants in order to make your ideas happen.  He will also highlight key areas where grant funding is developing. - When  advising our clients we often say that looking for funding is rather like fishing.  We need to know 3 things:
- What  is  the  fish I am trying to catch? (The amount of money needed and what it is for).
- What  is  the pond I need to fish in to catch this fish? (The type of fund and funder).
- What  rod  can  I  use  to  catch  it? (The method of identifying and applying for the funds).
A presentation not to be missed in our changing economic climate."
